Samsung has announced a new smartphone, namely Samsung i5500 Corby a.k.a Galaxy 5 with Android 2.1 OS (Eclair).
The Galaxy 5 has a compact capacitive touchscreen 2.8-inch QVGA display, accelerometer sensor, 600MHz processor, a 2-megapixel fixed-focus camera with LED flash, WiFi b/g and Bluetooth 2.1+EDR, also 170MB of storage and a microSD slot (TransFlash) up to 16GB, 1GB included.
