Garmin Asus Nuvifone A50
Garmin and Asus latest collaboration has resulted in the nuvifone A50, a touchscreen Android-powered smartphone which will retain the mainstay characteristics of Garmin’s vaunted GPS navigation system. The Garmin Asus Nuvifone A50 offers all mobile services from Google (including by Vocal Google Search, Gmail, Google Maps, Youtube) but also the benefits of Android Market which offers a very wide application downloadable. You can be sure that the nüvifone A50 will feature full integration with the vast array of Google mobile services, including one-click access to Google Search by voice, Google Maps, Gmail, YouTube, calendar, contacts and the Android Market which currently bosats over 20,000 applications for you to download and install. Other features of the nüvifone A50 include on-device sync with Microsoft Exchange server as well as wireless synchronization of contacts, calendar and enterprise email. Setting up your account is a snap, taking all of a few steps. Apart from that, you will be able to receive your current location (latitude and longitude) information from multiple sources including satellite, network-based and terrestrial sources. These various technologies will work in tandem so that A50 customers are able to enjoy the best location and navigation experience possible on a smartphone, although we’re sure that Apple begs to differ.
The price of Garmin Asus Nuvifone A50 is yet unknown (probably more detail at MWC 2010), but the release date in Europe is expected to be in the first half of 2010.
